RoomHub Can’t Connect to Pleneo Cloud

If RoomHub isn’t connecting to Pleneo Cloud, follow these steps in order.


1. Confirm RoomHub Has Power

  • Make sure LAN 1 is connected to a PoE-enabled switch

  • If you’re unsure, see the article “RoomHub Does Not Power On”

  • No power means no cloud connection


2. Verify Local Operation

  • Open RoomHub’s Web GUI using its IP address or QR code

  • If the Web GUI loads, RoomHub is running correctly

  • If it doesn’t, fix local connectivity first (RoomHub to Switch)


3. Check Internet Access

  • Confirm the network port connected to RoomHub has internet access

  • Test with another device on the same port if needed

RoomHub requires outbound internet connectivity to reach Pleneo Cloud.


4. Verify Network Policies with IT

Ask IT to confirm:

  • The network connection is not filtered or restricted

  • Outbound HTTPS traffic (TCP port 443) is allowed

  • No firewall or proxy is blocking cloud communication

Pleneo Cloud communication uses secure HTTPS only.


Result

Once RoomHub is powered, reachable locally, and connected to a network with open HTTPS access, it should connect to Pleneo Cloud automatically.
