Can’t Discover the Microphone?
If your microphone isn’t showing up in RoomHub or Pleneo Cloud, check these steps in order.
1. Make Sure It Has Power
Confirm the microphone is powered on
No power means no discovery.
2. Check the Cables
Make sure all required cables are connected
Some microphones need more than one cable
Example: Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 requires two LAN cables
Reseat the cables and try a different one if possible
If Used with Sonia
1. Use the Correct Port
Connect the microphone to the Mic (PoE) port on the Sonia Amp.
Other ports are designed for Sonia Speakers and will not work
2. Confirm Power
Make sure the Sonia Amp is receiving PoE+ power
Standard PoE is not sufficient, Sonia Amp requires PoE+
Without proper power, microphones won’t be detected.
Once the amp has PoE+ power and the microphone is connected to the correct port, discovery should work automatically.
Result
Once the microphone is powered, fully connected, and plugged into the correct port, it should appear automatically in Room OS or Pleneo Cloud.
