RoomHub Does Not Power On

If your RoomHub does not power on, follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.


1. Check the Network Connection

  • Make sure LAN 1 on RoomHub is connected

  • Confirm the network switch supports PoE (Power over Ethernet)

Only LAN 1 provides power to RoomHub. Connecting to LAN 2 will not power the device.


2. Verify PoE Availability

If RoomHub is connected to LAN 1 and the switch supports PoE but the unit still does not power on:

  • Try connecting RoomHub to a different PoE-enabled switch or port

Tip: In some cases, the PoE power budget on the original switch may be fully used, preventing additional devices from receiving power.


Result

Once RoomHub is connected to a PoE-enabled port with sufficient power available, it should power on automatically.
