Prepare your Pleneo Room

Edited

Overview

Pleneo systems are designed to configure themselves automatically.
In most rooms, setup works without manual tuning or adjustment.

AI AutoDeploy™ adapts to real-world spaces, including rooms with glass, hard surfaces, and mixed layouts. The system handles the complexity in the background.

The steps below are simple preparation tips.
They are not required, but they help the room perform even more consistently.

Balance the Room

Hard surfaces reflect sound and can blur speech clarity.
Adding soft materials helps voices sound natural.

If available, consider:

  • Rugs or carpet tiles

  • Curtains or fabric blinds

  • Acoustic wall or ceiling panels

Check the Network

A stable network ensures smooth setup and reliable audio.

Before setup:

  • Use managed PoE switches with Dante QoS and IGMP snooping enabled

  • Coordinate with IT if VLANs or 802.1X are in use

All components run on PoE.
No external power supplies are required.

Keep It Quiet

Pleneo automatically manages background noise but a quieter room helps the system identify speech and room behavior more clearly.

If possible:

  • Run setup when the room is empty

  • Turn off fans, HVAC boosts, and projectors

  • Close doors and windows

The system will still work if this isn’t possible.
Quiet conditions simply improve consistency.

In Summary

Pleneo makes room configuration simple and reliable.
Most of the work happens automatically.

These steps are optional:

  • Balance the room where possible

  • Confirm the network before starting

  • Reduce noise during setup

Prepare the space lightly.
Pleneo takes care of the rest.
