Is Pleneo Cloud secure?

Yes. Pleneo Cloud is built with security as a core principle and is operated under internationally recognized security frameworks, including SOC 2 and ISO/IEC 27001. These standards validate that our systems, processes, and controls are designed to protect customer data continuously, not just at a single point in time.


What data is sent to the cloud?

Only monitoring data, analytics, and system health information are sent to Pleneo Cloud.

All media, audio, and AI processing (including NoiseSense, ML Deverb, and AutoDeploy tuning) run locally on the RoomHub hardware.
No audio streams or meeting content are sent to the cloud.


Can RoomHub be used without internet access?

Yes. RoomHub works fully offline.

All core room functions runs entirely locally, including:

  • Microphone and camera control

  • AI AutoDeploy

  • AI audio processing

Internet access is only required if you want cloud-based monitoring, analytics, or Zero Touch Cloud Deployment.


Where is customer data stored?

Pleneo Cloud is designed with data sovereignty in mind.

Customer data is stored and processed in accordance with regional regulations such as GDPR, and Pleneo supports regional data hosting where required.
This allows customers to meet internal governance and legal requirements around data residency.


Is Pleneo compliant with GDPR?

Yes. Pleneo Cloud is designed to support GDPR compliance through strong data protection controls, transparency around data handling, and regional data processing options.


What certifications does Pleneo hold?
