How long does it take to set up a room with AI Autodeploy?
Overview
Setting up a room with AI Autodeploy takes just a few minutes.
You can choose between two setup methods depending on your workflow and network requirements:
Zero-Touch Cloud Deployment,through Pleneo Cloud
Local Deployment, using RoomHub’s built-in web interface
Both methods automatically detect connected devices and configure the room without manual programming.
Option 1: Zero-Touch Cloud Deployment
Zero-Touch Cloud Deployment uses Pleneo Cloud, a browser-based platform for Defining, Deploying, Monitoring, and Managing all your Pleneo Rooms, from a single site to a global rollout.
In Pleneo Cloud, you:
Create a virtual room.
Link the MAC addresses of physical RoomHub devices to that virtual room.
Once devices connect on-site, the system automatically configures the room using AI AutoDeploy.
Typical setup time:
The only manual step is connecting the network cable to RoomHub.
This approach is ideal for larger organizations or integrators managing multiple installations remotely.
Option 2: Local Deployment
If you prefer to deploy RoomHub directly on-site, you can use the embedded web server.
RoomHub automatically:
Maps your local network
Detects connected devices (microphones, cameras, amplifiers, and more)
Lets you assign each device to your room with a single click
RoomHub runs AI AutoDeploy.
Typical setup time: around 5 minutes.
Local Deployment is useful for smaller installations or environments without cloud connectivity.
